A Bit About Me

Currently serving as a full-time Clinical Psychologist at Process Psychology Centre (PPC), she brings approximately seven years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical & Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from International Islamic University Malaysia.

Over the years, she has developed broad clinical experience supporting clients with a wide range of psychological and emotional concerns, including trauma and trauma-related difficulties, OCD and intrusive thoughts, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem and identity concerns, interpersonal difficulties, relationship distress, behavioural concerns, and major life transitions. Her extensive clinical exposure allows her to work confidently with both focused concerns and more complex cases where emotional, behavioural, family, and relationship difficulties may overlap.

She has a particular depth of experience in trauma-informed psychological care, supporting clients whose past or ongoing experiences continue to affect their emotions, relationships, sense of safety, trust, and everyday functioning. Her approach emphasises emotional safety, sensitivity, appropriate pacing, and helping clients develop greater understanding and healthier ways of responding to difficult experiences.

In addition to individual psychotherapy, she is highly experienced in Couple and Family Therapy, supporting couples and families through communication breakdowns, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, family tension, and significant life or family transitions. She helps clients identify underlying relationship patterns, better understand one another’s perspectives, strengthen communication, and develop healthier ways of navigating challenges together.

Her clinical expertise also includes psychological assessments, where she provides comprehensive evaluation and clinical recommendations according to the individual’s presenting concerns and needs.

She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents and is skilled in using Play Therapy and developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches. Recognising that younger clients may communicate and process emotions differently from adults, she adapts her approach to the child’s developmental stage and incorporates play and expressive methods to facilitate communication, emotional expression, and therapeutic engagement.

With experience spanning individual psychotherapy, complex and trauma-related presentations, OCD, Couple and Family Therapy, psychological assessment, child and adolescent intervention, and Play Therapy, she is able to tailor treatment according to each client’s age, needs, circumstances, and therapeutic goals.

Her approach is warm, attentive, and collaborative while maintaining a strong clinical focus. Above all, she aims to provide a safe, professional, and non-judgemental therapeutic environment where clients feel genuinely heard and understood, while receiving structured psychological support to develop insight, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional and relationship functioning, and work towards meaningful, sustainable change.
