A Bit About Me

I’m a Clinical Psychologist at PPC, supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families through a wide range of emotional, psychological, and relationship challenges.

I have extensive experience supporting clients with trauma and trauma-related difficulties, including difficult or overwhelming past experiences, emotional triggers, persistent fear or anxiety, relationship wounds, difficulties with trust and safety, and patterns that continue to affect everyday life and relationships. I understand that trauma can affect people in very different ways, and I take a sensitive, compassionate, and individualised approach to helping clients process their experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and rebuild a greater sense of safety and control.

I also work with anxiety, depression, OCD and intrusive thoughts, ADHD, emotional difficulties, self-esteem and body image concerns, identity exploration, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and strive to create a space where every client feels respected, understood, and accepted.

Another important area of my work is Couple and Family Therapy. I support couples and families experiencing relationship conflict, communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, recurring relationship patterns, family tension, and significant changes within relationships or family life. I work collaboratively with clients to understand the deeper patterns behind their difficulties, improve communication, navigate challenging emotions, and develop healthier ways of relating and reconnecting.

My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each client, couple, or family based on their needs, experiences, and goals. I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and CBT-informed approaches, while also incorporating emotional regulation strategies and expressive techniques, including art and other creative approaches, when helpful.

I understand that reaching out for psychological support can feel difficult, particularly when you have been carrying painful experiences for a long time or when your emotions, relationships, or family situation feel overwhelming. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming in.

My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel genuinely heard and understood. Together, we can make sense of what you are experiencing, recognise patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical ways to cope, and work towards meaningful and lasting changes in your emotional wellbeing, relationships, and everyday life.
